We celebrate National Talk like Shakespeare Day on the Bard’s birthday, which is April 23. He’d be 450 if he were aliveth today.
Widely considered the greatest writer in the English language, Shakespeare is also credited with coining the most oft-repeated phrases and sayings, from ‘all that glitters is not gold’ and ‘In a pickle’ to ‘lily-livered’ and “wear your heart on your sleeve.’
